More magazine features

We have recently had 3 of our cars photographed for  national magazine features.

BMW M3

Following on from its awesome feature in Performance BMW magazine (Feb 09) Davy Whigghams' BMW M3 will soon follow that up with a feature in Fast Car magazine. Davy is no stranger to magazine features with his previous BMW Coupe being featured in two national magazines 'back in the day' when the install was first done. Davy had actually called in to buy a head unit at the old shop in Portadown - and left with a stunning SQ competition spec car which had great success on the competition scene for years to follow.

Davys new creation is totally stunning and when you see the craftsmanship in the install you would think it had left the factory that way. If you get a chance to see this car at a show then please call over and have a look. Have a chat with Davy too - if he's awake!!

VW Caddy van

This creation is one of the latest big systems to roll out of the workshop in N.I. - and in every way its a show stopper. Meticulous smoothed external bodywork, obligatory BBS rims, 'on-the-deck' suspension, rebuilt dashboard, bespoke cross stitched leather seats, fibreglass and painted custom door builds, lots & lots & lots of audio and a wee TV screen. Well its actually a Pioneer 42" plasma running a Nintendo Wii amongst other goodies. Photos and words cant desribe the true attention to detail this van has but hopefully Mr McCanns photographic skills for Fast Car will do it the justice it deserves. Again this is another one you will need to see much closer but the owner will definately not be asleep!! It makes so much noise you couldn't sleep within 800 yards of this machine.

1969 Mini Traveller

Following its summer audio upgrade and subsequent interior retrim - Billys' wee Mini Traveller has just been photographed for Mini World magazine. After the editor of this magazine spied the wee car in a main audio based forum, he asked a freelance car magazine reporter to find out all he could about this beautiful '69 Traveller.

Luckily the man he asked about it knew we were involved and called immediately to arrange its feature. The pics and editorial are now being cogged together and we look forward to bringing the pics and the feature to the site very soon. Another lovely car to join the Audio Advice portfolio.

The Traveller had to be built to be loud and proud at a show or event but also be tonally detailed and well placed for every day listening. The installation also needed to compliment the fact that the car was 40 years old and still compliment the unique look and nature of the original lines etc; Great care and planning was put into this job with a combination of very modern equipment and materials which flattered the cars original exterior and interior touches. I think we more than covered the wishes of the client and when we hear the affection and kind words about the install at shows we think we met our goal.

Please have a closer look at all of the aforementioned cars in our Audio Gallery.
